Fishing Report 7th September 2015:
Anglers are finding Bream in the lower reaches of The Bemm River, which is great news.
The water in the River and Lake is slowly clearing up, and these early reports from the River are an indication that the spawning run could be happening, just like old times.
Estuary Perch have been taken down the channel, and at the mouth of the River.
Local Sandworm is available, and with local frozen Prawn make up the best baits to use.
The entrance is running hard, and there is a good opportunity for the Trevally, Taylor and Salmon to come in.
A variety of lures can be used on the Perch. Hard body lures, vibes or DOA prawn work well.
The surf has a few Salmon cruising the gutters, best results on Pilchard or any flashing type lure.
