FISH REPORT SEPTEMBER 2012
The lake remains open to the sea which is allowing salmon to come in still. Trolling is probably the easiest way to catch these fish.
Working the rising tide seems important and they are not as plentiful as they were but a rough sea seems to bring them in. Should be great sport over the school holidays.
The river is firing up with some outstanding bags reported, quality is a feature.
Nothing normal about this season, as the bream have gone well upstream already.
Perch have been caught on the snags in the river.
The lake has started to show signs of improving with some anglers very happy with their catches. Siberia and Bob’s Bay are producing well as is in front of the channel.
Some anglers are lure only fisherman but frozen prawn is the favoured bait.
