Bruthen angling club held their annual fishing competition at Bemm River on the weekend of the25th and 26th of October. They were joined by the Bemm River Angling Club, and fished for the heaviest Bream.
The heaviest Bream landed weighed 850gms, and was caught by Val Mildenhall a Bemm member. A great barbecue hosted by Bruthen on Saturday night was enjoyed by all.
At the final weigh in on Sunday, Val was congratulated by Paul Faulkner president of Bruthen.
All anglers then enjoyed a light lunch on the Bemm River Hotel balcony.
