BEMM RIVER ANGLING CLUB LAKE TYERS TRIP.
Approximately 40 members enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Lake Tyers on the 17th and 18th of November.
Members met at The Waterwheel Tavern for a get together on the Friday night, and fished on Saturday, with the weigh in at 6pm.
A barbecue followed by a short meeting was held , and enjoyed by all.
Brag mats were used for the first time in recording large Flathead that were caught and released. The longest measured was 84 cms caught by Tony Blackford.
Fishing was much improved than last year, and bank anglers enjoyed good Bream fishing at Mill Point. Most anglers weighed in fish, and secret weights applied to all other sections. All members could weigh in one Bream and one other specie for the day.
Brendon Loois was the winner of the boys section for Bream, and John Roberts was the winner of any other specie.Di Cunningham won the ladies secret weight.
The club would like to thank all the sponsors for their generous donations of prizes.
A big thank you to all the members for helping to make the weekend a huge success.
