BEMM RIVER ANGLING CLUB FISHING REPORT 1/6/18
The Lake remains high, and the water level has risen after recent rain.
Fishing has been very productive when the weather permits.
Recent reports indicate Bream are on the bite, and can be found around the River Mouth, as well as in the deeper water of the Lake.
Quality Bream have been landed on Sandworm and Local Frozen Prawn, and Lure Anglers have had some amazing sessions using vibes and plastics.
Trolling for Taylor in the channel has been a good option for anglers, and recent reports of large Taylor can be found. Some anglers have indicated that it is common to be bitten off by these large fish. Lure choice is important, and rigged with a wire leader can be a great help. Diving birds can be a good guide to where the Taylor are.
No reports from the Surf this week.
