BEMM RIVER ANGLING CLUB FISHING REPORT 14/7/2016
Winter has brought two floods, very cold conditions, and a lot of dirty water has passed through the system. There has been some great fishing, during the calmer periods.
Reports indicate patches of small Bream are hard to get away from. Better quality Bream can be found around the Lake in the deeper water. Productive areas are between the River mouth and the Channel, and up towards the Mahoganeys.
The Bream are taking frozen prawn and sandworm, with the Hobie and Lure fishermen doing well on plastics and vibes.
The wing has been cold, and even on a good day you need to rug up.
The water can be low at times, so care must be taken when navigating your way around.
Make sure you have all of your safety gear up to date. Check your life jackets, and make sure your flares are in date, also check your torch battery.
Hope you all enjoy some productive winter fishing.
