BEMM RIVER ANGLING CLUB FISHING REPORT
The Lake remains closed, and catches have been good until this week.
Recent efforts indicate patchy results.
Bream seemed to have moved away from some of the favoured areas.
The Channel is a good option, as is Mud Lake, and as the water has got colder it could be worth a try in the deeper parts of the Lake. Some anglers have had success fishing close into the banks at the River mouth.
Sandworm, Frozen Prawn, pieces of Garfish, and fillets of Pilchard are well worth a try.
Better weather is helping visitors this week, and should help bring the Bream back on the bite.
The odd Salmon on the beach has been landed, and with increased effort over the holiday period, better bags should be had. Poppers and Pilchards have been the best baits. Be early in the morning for best results as the moon will be full on the 11th of April.
